Founded in 1930 by Ray Richter, Cragar stands for the best value in performance and style. Throughout the 40’s and the 50’s Cragar’s focus was on performance parts for the expling hot rod scene. Cragar introduced the now famous SS wheel in 1964 creating the aftermarket wheel industry. Today, tens of millions of vehicles are equipped with Cragar wheels. The Cragar brand enjoys a very strong emotional bond with the consumer and is widely recognized by people everywhere. Recently Cragar has shifted its focus from being a manufacturing company to one focused on its brand strength and the brands licensing potential.

Currently Cragar has six companies that produce products under license. These companies produce products ranging from wheels to brakes to die cast models. Each of these companies brings a wealth of experience and investment to the Cragar brand.
